NO PHOTO ZONE

Protecting an experience is not a new concept, but it is often applied to commercial contexts i.e. where the experience owner wants to protect their right to sell mementos. This often applies to observers of an experience i.e. onlookers who are not part of it.

Some museum exhibits prohibit photography; this can be due to the fragility of the artefacts and the possible damage of flash photography. It can also be due to the desire to sell 'pieces' of an experience.

What if there was a communal transient experience which prohibited photography of any kind? Something which brought people together and made a comment about becoming part of a moment instead of clinging onto it with mementos? The individuals would be transiently involved-perhaps there could be some residue and an element of 'i was here'?
