Goals Achieved: Completed the stage 3
prototype, completed the manual for user review.
Goals Outstanding: Test stage 3
prototype, evaluate manual & website with techniques i.e. user testing,
participatory design & heuristics (normans 7 principles), usability &
experience goals. Do a user test where a user is given nothing but the manual
& the object and is observed. Use the Goetz & LeCompte framework. There
will be predictive evaluation conducted.
This week has involved preparation for
the final round of user testing and prototype evaluation to develop the final
stage 4 prototype. Once this is complete the accompanying materials i.e.
packaging, manual, advert /video & a website will be developed.
